Key Job Responsibilities :
· Manage the department targets, budget and KPI’s as per company’s budget, both for offers and orders
· Manage the multi-cultural staff in their respective roles to meet the departmental targets and KPS’s
· Optimize the department’s efficiency
· Ensure high quality and competitive designs
· Interact with licensor for technical clarifications and support
· Provide any required technical support / solution to sales, production, Quality Assurance and Purchasing to deliver a high quality product
· Ensure that all design procedures, work instructions and practices are being followed according the laid down procedures.
· Decision maker for the critical projects, technical problems and situations.
Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum 10 years work experience in electrical design of power transformers in power transformer manufacturing company, of which 5 years at least as a Design Manager (up to 400 MVA & 400kV Class).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Excellent managerial, social and interpersonal skills (Multi-discipline & multi-cultural environment)
· In-depth knowledge about the electrical, mechanical and control design of power transformers
· In-depth knowledge about the materials used in power transformers
· Ability to use design software and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications
· Proficiency in English language is mandatory
Minimum Education Requirements:
· BS degree in Electrical (Power) Engineering
