ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER (Power Transformers)

Job Responsibilities:
• Power Transformer Electrical design upto 50 MVA, 132 kV class Transformers.
• Design preparation & Bill of Materials as per customer requirements/specifications.
• Preparation of Customer Technical Submittals.
• Checking complete manufacturing fabrication drawings and confirm to customer
specification.
• Communication with Sales, Purchase, Production, Quality Assurance departments,
Suppliers & Customers.
• Design Engineer(A) has to perform all duties assigned by Chief design engineer /
Design Manager

Experience Requirements:
• 7 years minimum experience in Transformer design Department of any Transformer
manufacturing company.
• Work experience of Transformers as per IEC & ANSI standards.
• Work experience of Foil winding, CTC conductors , Disc winding, hermetically
sealed, conservator type Transformers & On-Load tap changer.

Required Knowledge & Skills:
• Knowledge in FoxPro, DesDT,ITRACS or any other Transformer Design software and
MS Windows.
• Knowledge of full Transformer calculations ( SC, Loading , Cooling , Impulse…..etc.).
• Awareness of QMS, EMS Policies & standards ISO 14001 & 9001.
• Awareness of Safety & Procedures.
Education recruitments:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
